Minor in Health Science

The Health Science minor introduces students to public health, wellness and health care systems.  

The minor complements a variety of majors in the social sciences and will prepare students to apply scientific knowledge, cultural competence and ethical awareness to health-related careers and graduate study.

Participate in faculty-led research in biology, allowing hands-on experience, scientific competence, data analysis, and critical thinking thereby strengthening graduate or professional school applications.

Graduates are prepared for career pathways in public health, health care administration, community health and rehabilitation. Students are also prepared to seek graduate study in many health programs.
