Minor in History

The History minor focuses on examining historical events, movements and cultures that have helped shape the modern world. In their courses students develop research and analytical skills to understand and interpret past and present contexts.

Students develop the concrete skills of primary and secondary source research, developing critical arguments, drawing informed connections and conclusions about complex issues, gaining appreciation for the diverse perspectives of past and present peoples.
